I grew up in Rutland, one of the more urban cites in the state of Vermont. At a young age, I showed a strong passion for hand drawing as well as building physical things - from wooden forts to neighborhood skateboard ramps. As I ventured through school, I had always known I wanted to create and design. I began to take drafting courses as early as middle school and continued into high school classes at Stafford Technical Center. This is when I decided that architecture was the career I would pursue.

 

As a native Vermonter, I have always had a strong connection with the natural environment. My design aesthetic relies on the expression of raw materials, and the ease of transition between the natural and built environments.
